AKINHANMI & ASSOCIATES is a firm of Estate Surveyors and valuers which was established by a team of individuals with a passion for the real estate industry with the aim of delivering quality professional real estate services to its clients with customer satisfaction being our key priority.

All business will state they have fantastic customer/client relations and are proud to make this clear but at AKINHANMI & ASSOCIATES actions speak louder than words. We pride ourselves on our personalized customer/client care; clients are always assured that we are with them in every step/decision they make as regards their real estate endeavours.

AKINHANMI & ASSOCIATES is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) to practice the estate surveying profession throughout the federation of Nigeria. We are also corporate members of the Institute of Facility Management Association (IFMA) Nigeria Chapter and affiliated with other relevant professional real estate organizations.

With the world being a global village now, we intend to extend our practice beyond the shores of our foundational base and be an active player in the global real estate industry.

Our Beliefs

We firmly believe in Articles 17 & 25 (1) of the United Nations’ Universal
Declaration of Human Rights which says-

Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.
No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.
Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and
well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

Our Team

Tokunbo Akinhanmi is a registered estate surveyor and surveyor and has
been the principal partner of Akinhanmi & Associates, a dynamic estate
surveying and real estate services firm since 2011.

He has a B.Sc. in Estate Management from the University Of Lagos (Akoka,
Nigeria) and M.Sc. in Property Development from the Birmingham City
University (United Kingdom). He is affiliated with several professional bodies
and institutions both locally and internationally.

He qualified as a mortgage broker and adviser and earned a Certificate in
Mortgage Advice & Practice (CeMAP) with The London Institute of Banking & Finance (United Kingdom). He is a Registered Surveyor & Valuer (RSV) with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV). He is a member of FIABCI [French acronym for “Federation International des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers”, which means ‘The International Real Estate Federation’] and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).

Tokunbo has a passion for the real estate industry and has been quite active
in the general practice aspect of the real estate profession. He has used his
diverse experience and knowledge to provide customized solutions for clients
across the full spectrum of the real estate community. He has assisted
property owners, developers, investors, individuals and general business
clients with real estate advisory services, landed and property acquisitions
and leases, asset management initiatives, valuations of landed property
assets, maintenance of landlord-tenant relationships, management of
various property types and facilities management. He has equally consulted
in real estate redevelopment projects.

Principal Partner, AKINHANMI & ASSOCIATES

Maryam Akinhanmi is an estate management graduate from the Federal University of Minna. She worked in the firm of Inyi Victor & Partners and rose to the rank of the Lagos branch manager before joining Foxson’s Estate Agents as the sales manager where she was before joining Akinhanmi & Associates.

She has been actively involved in the general practice aspect of the real estate industry and profession for over a decade and is an Associate Member of The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.

Maryam Akinhanmi

Abiodun Oladehinde holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer
Science from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba- Lagos. He has managed
several construction-related projects in the capacity of a Project Manager,
Site and Facilities Manager and Procurement Manager for both private and
public sectors. He has been with Akinhanmi & Associates since 2014 as a
Real Estate Assistant and has been involved in providing administrative and
logistical support for the firm’s general practice business.

He is an aspiring member of the International Facilities Management
Association (IFMA).
